Brands / labels design with particular customers  in mind,  this influences their fit and sizing. Some brands offer a relaxed lifestyle fit and others may focus on a fitted tapered block. We are here to help you find the best fit for you.  

Often in our description we may refer to "True to Size" This means we have found the fitting to be an honest size. When we note "Oversized" this suggests fitting is relaxed, If you want an oversized look purchase your true size or purchase a size smaller for a more tapered look. When sizing is small or large we have noted a suggestion of purchasing a smaller or larger size.

The following measurements are a guide. Please read the item descriptions carefully for more tips on the sizing of each individual style.

MAVI SIZE GUIDE

WOMENS JEANS | DENIM SHORTS

As a general rule, our women’s jeans & denim shorts are designed to fit the following body measurements. There may be slight variations to this depending on the product.

There are 3 measurements to consider when purchasing a pair of jeans or denim shorts:

1. Waist
   Find your natural waistline. This is the narrowest part of your waist, about 1” above your navel. Ensure measurements for waist and hip are taken in centimeters to reflect true Mavi size.
2. Hip
   The hip should be measured around its fullest part (about 8” below your waist).
3. Length
   This is also known as inseam or inside leg. There are typically 3 types – crop (28” – 30”), regular (32”) & tall (34”). Use your favourite pair of jeans to measure from the crotch to the hem, down the inside leg. Denim short lengths will vary depending on the product. We mainly stock 32 Inch but we can order in 34 Inch on request
